FIOH - USA keeps in very close contact with our associates in Kisumu Kenya volunteering for FIOH - Kenya and those volunteering for FIOH-Tanzania. In this way we are kept abreast of any situations that arise needing an immediate response.Post-Election conflict in Kenya: FIOH - USA has allocated funds to help ease the suffering of people in and around Kisumu Kenya since the failed election of December 27, 2007. People are not able to obtain enough food to meet their needs. Most of the stores have been burned down and the schools and banks remain closed since the election. What food is available has more than doubled in price. The need is great. If you would like to make a donation to ease their suffering please contact us.
